Texas Frontier Trails, Inc. (TFT) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation founded to promote our western heritage and build cultural tourism in Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto County and the surrounding region through the presentation of entertainment and cultural events.
In order to accomplish its mission, TFT will be involved in a variety of activities related to the history of our region, including plays, concerts, modern dance pieces and educational events.
TFT recognizes that the theater arts provide an environment for a rich creative and collaborative process. This process allows artists of various disciplines to work toward the inception, development, and production of a variety of theatrical pieces.
TFT is dedicated to providing educational outreach programs and experiences, not only for the general public, but especially for public and private school students.
In addition, TFT will offer opportunities for members of the community to gain experience in the performing arts and the supporting elements of their production.
TFT has chosen Pollard Park in Mineral Wells for the location of its theater facilities. Initially, a temporary theater will be used for its productions. The stage is in place, with necessarysound, lighting, and seating added, as needed, to support each event. After support for the theater builds to a sufficient level, TFT plans to build a full-scale amphitheater in the park.
